The 5-yard bin is the right call for focused residential jobs and small contractor projects across Mississauga and West GTA. Here's when to book it:
Pro tip for contractors: The 5-yard bin's compact footprint makes it ideal for tight residential sites where a larger bin simply won't fit. WastePro's fleet is purpose-built to access narrow driveways, tight laneways, and congested urban sites that other bin companies can't reach.
Option 1 - Solid Heavy Waste Flat Rate: $400
Best for: Dedicated loads of heavy solid material - concrete, brick, asphalt, dirt, gravel.
Solid heavy waste is not weighed at the dump. Your flat rate of $340 covers delivery, pickup, up to one week rental, and disposal — that's it. No weighing, no overage calculation, no surprises.
Option 2 - Mixed Waste Flat Rate: $340
Best for: Homeowners and contractors with a mixed renovation or cleanout load under 1 tonne.
Your flat rate of $340 covers delivery, pickup, up to one week rental, and disposal for loads up to 1 tonne. Mixed waste is weighed at the dump after pickup - if your load comes in under 1 tonne, you pay nothing more. If your load exceeds 1 tonne, we'll let you know the overage in tonnes after weighing and the additional per-tonne charge will apply only to that extra weight.
Not sure if your load will hit the threshold? Call us at 647-477-0537 before booking - we'll help you figure out the most cost-effective option for your project.
Option 3 - Mixed or Solid Waste Per Ton: $220 base + $130/ton
Best for: Any load where you'd rather pay based on actual weight than a flat rate.
Final weight is confirmed at the dump station after pickup - you pay for exactly what you put in the bin.
No surprises on your invoice. Flat rate solid loads aren't weighed - your price is locked from the moment you book. Flat rate mixed loads are weighed after pickup - if there's an overage, you'll hear from us with the exact amount before anything is charged. Per-tonne loads are billed on confirmed weight only. No fuel surcharges within our service areas, no mystery fees.
Mixed Waste (flat rate or per ton): Renovation debris, drywall, wood, lumber, metal, insulation, flooring, carpeting, furniture, appliances, household junk, yard waste, construction and demolition debris, metal, shingles, slate, stone, tile, wood, asphalt, brick, concrete, dirt, gravel
Solid Waste (flat rate): Dedicated for asphalt, brick, concrete, dirt, gravel
Paint, oils, chemicals, solvents, asbestos, oil drums, oil tanks, gas tanks, toxins, explosives
Not sure if your material is accepted? Call us at 647-477-0537 before booking - we'd rather help you get it right upfront than have a problem on pickup day.
On private property (your driveway): No permit required. The 5-yard bin fits on any standard driveway - just let us know where you want it placed and we'll handle the rest.
On a public street or city right-of-way: A permit from your municipality is required. In Toronto, this is a Boulevard Café / Patio / Bin permit through the city. In Mississauga, a Road Occupancy Permit is required. WastePro recommends confirming with your local municipality before placing a bin on a public road.

What happens if my mixed waste load exceeds 1 tonne? Mixed waste is weighed at the dump after pickup. If your load comes in under 1 tonne, your flat rate covers everything. If it goes over, we'll contact you with the exact overage in tonnes - the additional per-tonne charge applies only to that extra weight, nothing more. If you think your load might be close to the threshold, call us at 647-477-0537 before booking and we'll help you figure out the most cost-effective option.
Can I put concrete or brick in the mixed waste flat rate bin? No - heavy solid materials like concrete, brick, asphalt, and soil need to be booked as a dedicated solid waste order. The good news is the solid heavy waste flat rate is also $340 and isn't weighed at the dump, so your price is locked from the start.
Does the bin fit in my driveway? The 5-yard bin is exactly 12 ft long by 5 ft wide and 2.5 ft tall - it fits comfortably on virtually any driveway, including tight residential properties. If you have concerns about placement, call us and we'll talk you through your options.
