HOW IT WORKS

Booking a WastePro Bin

Waste Pro proudly offer their bin rentals throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We pride ourselves in our excellent customer service, friendly pricing, and flexibility in servicing your needs.

1

What Type of Bin You Are Looking For

  • Is your project residential or commercial?
  • Homeowner or contractor
  • Construction, cleaning, moving?
  • What scope of project? (Size of space)
  • What stage of project?
  • What types of materials would you be getting rid of now and in the future
  • Approximate amount of waste

2

Choose the bin size and need frequency

We will be more than happy to help you choose the appropriate bin size. We have bin sizes ranging from 5, 14, 20, 30 and 40 cubic yards. Residential debris rarely require more than a 5 yard bin size while most construction projections we would recommend a 14 or 20 yard dumpster. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions for what bin size makes the most sense for you.

3

Quotation and Explanation of rights, rules and regulations

Once we review what type of debris you have and how much of it is needed to be safely disposed of, we will provide you with a quote.

4

Schedule delivery and pick-up dates

We will then schedule a pickup/delivery for your bin rental. We will bring it to your driveway and ensure that no damage is done to the driveway or anywhere in your home. You just let us know where we should place the bin and we will take care of the rest.

5

Loading Your Bin with Junk and Debris

Our bins are made to be driveway friendly. Loading them isn’t a problem. Most of our bins are around 5 feet high so throwing your junk over the sides of the bin is relatively easy. Our rentals are a minimum of 7 days so you can take your time.

Renting a bin from WastePro is designed to be the easiest part of your project. There are no complicated forms, no fine print surprises, and no guesswork on pricing. You call us, we figure out the right bin together, we confirm the price, we show up when we say we will, and we pick up when you’re done. Here’s exactly what happens from the first call to the final pickup.

Then select the appropriate container for your task by following these instructions

STEP ONE

Tell Us About Your Job

The first call takes about two minutes.

Before anything is booked, we want to understand what you’re working with. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you call – that’s what the call is for. We’ll ask a few straightforward questions:

  • Is this a residential, contractor, or commercial job?
  • What are you getting rid of – renovation debris, heavy solid material, scrap metal, yard waste, junk?
  • How much do you have, roughly – one room, a full basement, an entire property?
  • Where are we dropping the bin – driveway, job site, commercial property?
  • When do you need delivery, and how long do you think you’ll need the bin?

Based on what you tell us, we’ll recommend the right bin size and the right pricing option – flat rate or per tonne – for your specific load. If you’re not sure about something, say so. We’ve had this conversation thousands of times and we’ll help you figure it out.

STEP TWO

Choose Your Bin Size & Pricing Option

We have five bin sizes and two ways to bill – we’ll help you find the right combination.

Bin Sizes

Bin SizeDimensionsTypical Use
5-yard12' × 5' × 2.5'Solid heavy waste only — concrete, asphalt, gravel, brick, soil
14-yard12' × 7' × 4.5'Most residential and contractor jobs — our most popular bin
20-yard14' × 8' × 5'Large renovations, whole-home gut-outs, commercial fit-outs
30-yard16' × 8' × 6.5'Major demolition, large contractor sites, industrial cleanouts
40-yard18' × 8' × 7.5'Maximum capacity — large commercial and industrial operations

Pricing Options

Flat Rate – Price locked at booking. Your load is weighed at the dump after pickup – if it comes in under the included weight threshold, you pay the flat rate and nothing more. Overage applies only to weight above the threshold, and we contact you before charging anything extra. Available on 5, 14, and 20-yard bins.

Per Tonne – Pay for confirmed weight after pickup. The base charge of $220 covers delivery, pickup, and your rental period. Final billing is based on actual tonnage at the dump station – no threshold, no overage risk. Available on all five bin sizes.

Not sure which is right for you? Flat rate is simpler when load weight is predictable. Per tonne is more accurate when it isn’t. We’ll tell you what most customers in your situation choose.

STEP THREE

Get Your Quote & Confirm the Booking

Your price is confirmed before anything is scheduled – no surprises after the fact.

Once we know your bin size, pricing option, waste type, and delivery location, we give you a complete quote on the call. We explain every charge before anything is booked:

  • Bin size and pricing option
  • Delivery and pickup – included
  • Rental period – up to one week standard
  • Applicable flat rate or per-tonne rate
  • Any material-specific considerations (brick, soil, and some seasonal materials have variable pricing – we’ll confirm the current rate)

When the quote is confirmed, we schedule your delivery and pickup dates. Nothing is locked in until you’re happy with the number.

No fuel surcharges within our service areas. No mystery fees. No adjustments to your invoice after pickup without a call first.

STEP FOUR

We Deliver Your Bin

On-time delivery, driveway protection on every drop.

On your confirmed delivery date, a WastePro driver brings your bin to your property using our compact Kenworth hook-lift truck. A few things happen at delivery:

  • Protective pads are placed under the bin before it touches your driveway, interlock, or property surface. Every delivery, every time – no exceptions.
  • The bin is placed exactly where you want it. You tell us, we place it. If there are access challenges – tight driveways, low-hanging branches, narrow laneways – we’ll work through them. Our hook-lift trucks are specifically chosen for their ability to reach sites that full-size roll-off trucks can’t access.
  • You confirm placement before the driver leaves. If it’s not where you want it, we adjust before we go.

Same-day and next-day delivery is available in most areas across Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, and West Toronto. Our yard is in Etobicoke – we’re local and we move quickly.

STEP FIVE

Fill Your Bin

Your rental, your pace.

The standard rental period is up to one week. You fill the bin on your schedule – whether that’s one afternoon or spread across the week. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Don’t overfill. Material should not extend above the top edge of the bin. Overfilled bins cannot be safely transported – we’ll ask you to remove the excess before pickup if the load is over the rim. If you think you might run out of space, call us.
  • Keep it legal. No hazardous material – paint, oils, chemicals, solvents, propane tanks, asbestos, or contaminated soil – in any WastePro bin. These are not accepted under any circumstances.
  • Dedicated bins stay dedicated. If you’ve booked a solid heavy waste bin (concrete, asphalt, gravel, brick, or soil), only that material goes in. Mixed debris in a solid heavy waste bin converts the load to mixed waste billing. If your load changes, call us before loading – we’ll set you up correctly.
  • Need more time? Call us at 647-477-0537 at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup and we’ll arrange an extension. Extended rental rates apply.

STEP SIX

We Pick Up & Handle Disposal

You call or your rental period ends – we take it from there.

When you’re ready for pickup – or when your rental period is up – we schedule the collection and send a driver to retrieve the bin. You don’t need to be present for pickup as long as the bin is accessible and the driveway or staging area is clear.

After pickup:

  • Your load is transported to the appropriate licensed disposal or recycling facility
  • Mixed waste goes to a licensed general waste facility
  • Solid heavy material goes to a certified solid waste or recycling site
  • Scrap metal goes to a licensed scrap processing facility – and proceeds from the sale are returned to you
  • Your final invoice is issued after the load is weighed at the dump station

For flat rate bookings: If your load came in under the weight threshold, your invoice reflects the flat rate – nothing more. If it exceeded the threshold, we contact you with the confirmed overage amount before billing anything.

For per-tonne bookings: Your invoice reflects confirmed weight only – exactly what went into the bin, nothing estimated.
